Randy's got some birthday wishes before as he blows out some candles!

I hope you all (that can) enjoyed the 4th of July weekend, or as I call it - my birthday. And if you know I've been writing for AFTimes for 31 years, you can guess that I'm an "Old." That does NOT MEAN I still don't like prezzies!

As such, I decided to throw out into the Universe some "presents" I'd like to see in the next year from a few companies.

MARVEL LEGENDS John Romita Jr./"Big Hair" Elektra in Red (HASBRO)

I was so psyched when I saw the Elektra in the multi-pack announced in 2022. It reminded me of the "Man Without Fear" series, and that great John Romita Jr. artwork.

BUT... it was in a multipack AND wasn't in her traditional red outfit. So, I figured, I'd wait as Marvel Legends would HAVE to be putting it out later that way, in a single carded version.

Three Years -STILL WAITING! PLEASE, JESSE?!

MARVEL LEGENDS 5th Edition/Spy Wolverine-Black & Gold/Yellow (HASBRO)

This goes back to the Toy Biz days, and I admit, it's goofy for Wolverine to come armed with SO MANY KNIVES. But I REALLY dig it - even that weird goggle set up.

And seeing as a really close version of that outfit showing up in recent Marvel Comics, makes me think this is a PERFECT time for an updated version in Marvel Legends scale

MARVEL LEGENDS Shard (HASBRO)

I love the look of Shard so much! Shard's great by herself and paired with her brother Bishop. The fact that there is, to my knowledge, only one figure of her is criminal in my mind!

Of course, there are plenty of artists' version of her. But, to my mind this is who Shard should be modeled after... and played in the movies: Janelle Monáe.

MARVEL LEGENDS Ultimate X-Men Cable (HASBRO)

What can I say? I'm a big Cable fan! And I dig this out-there version of him by Robert Kirkman

So do this one... AND the Toy Biz versions - GIMME ALL THE CABLES!

PREY Naru and Taabe (NECA)

I love you NECA and I'm glad you did the Predator from PREY... but we ALSO NEED these bad-asses!

You should do them as two 2-Packs: Naru & Taabe and Narue (Warpaint) & Final Feral Predator. Who DOESN'T want Naur and her awesome doggo - ESPECIALLY with word that she'll be returning in the next Predator film! What are you waiting for?! DO IT, NECA!

NIGHT OF THE COMET Regina & 2 Pack (Syndicate Collectibles)

80s Nostalgia + Cult Film + Bad Ass Women = Right up Syndicate Collectibles alley! NIGHT OF THE COMET is a classic cult movie WORTHY of action figure immortalizaton!

Regina and Samantha are iconic characters, with great looks! They'd be a great two-packs, especially recreating the MAC-10 shooting practice scene! And if you're "worried" about trying to sell a female figure (BAH!), then separate them and included a Comet Zombie with each! Let's say the Nightmare Cop for Sam and Movie Theater Comet Zombie for Reg. They are iconic, cult and niche - ALL elements of the best of Syndicate Collectibles.

I think that's good for the moment - don't want to be too greedy!

Here's to another year of Randy still above ground and buying toys & figures! Be seeing you, RANDY
