Randy here! Yeah, it's been a minute. Sorry.
Why? Welllll.... Life, job, moving, no job, world on fire with stupidity... gestures around. You get the picture. But I do still love toys and figures, and some of them are Valaverse. I dig the hell out of them. And there's some GREAT looking stuff coming from Valaverse in 2025 and 2026.
Take a look!
Some general thoughts...
The "Extras" line looks like it can open a lot of possibilities. Especially with accessories and weapons packs. So much potential of odd and niche items to be out there for 1/12 figures.
As someone who was glad to snag the originals backpacks, I'm liking these new ones.
I'm liking the direction of Series 6 is going. I mean, I'm NEVER gonna say no to more shotguns!
LOVING that knife setup on Jester!
Working with UbiSoft and "Splinter Cell" is a smart move, as it is definitely in their wheelhouse. But licenses are ALWAYS a dangerous route for smaller companies. Caution is a necessity.
I'm DIGGING "The Black" a lot. Modern pirate mercenaries is a fun direction. Dig that there will be named characters AND troopers-Corsairs is a cool name for them. But if Blackbeard's coming with a shotgun, I there some kind of reload on him - maybe the wrist one from Atlas? And if it looks like the images shown, I'd like to keep that soft goods poncho for Blackbeard! (How about Combat Jet Skis, Bobby?)
ABSOLUTELY LOVING that Attack Raft! And I'm loving the MK19 grenade launcher in front! I'm also glad that you said you wanted to make sure it can actually float! The translucent base is a cool addition as well.
They Armory is a bold step, but I can absolutely see you taking it slow at the moment.
While WWII isn't my jam, I think the Action Force 1944 (AF44?) is a line I'm sure others will love.
Oh yeah, Bobby... I DO think you could do some great stuff in space! You KNOW that Crimson Shadow has a space station!
But no rush.
Looking good going forward.
Be seeing you, RANDY
