Not so long ago, in a place that is closer to most of us than we would like to believe, there lived a small demon named Keek. Keek spent most of his days performing repetitive and menial tasks in the bowels of the earth along with the other demons his age in hopes of one day becoming a true Devil. When that day finally came, Keek was summoned to meet Lucifer himself. "The time has come for you to grow into a true entity of evil," Lucifer said, and with a quick prod of his pitchfork, Keek was overcome by a sense of invincibility and confidence. "You will be sent to walk the earth and create chaos and fear amongst all men." As the last word left Lucifer's lips, Keek was suddenly plunged into darkness. He regained his senses to find himself standing upon the vast landscapes of the surface world.
It took only a single day of observation to cast Keek into a deep depression. It quickly became clear that Man himself had already created far more chaos, fear and destruction than Keek could ever have caused on his own. Depressed and mortified by what he saw, knowing that his task had been taken from him before it began, Keek walked aimlessly into the darkening world, doomed to forever be...the saddest devil.

Our story takes place in a galaxy not too far away. There was a chance encounter, a passing glance. A passion was ignited for an unlikely pair.
While eating a breakfast of Super Sugar Chongo Puffs Cereal, an alien named Obie glanced up to see a new discovery on his alien TV.
A planet called Earth was the topic of discussion. Scientists had found a new form of life there, something called a human.
He thought this was neat, but upon closer inspection, there was more to the story, this much was certain.
He paid close attention to a specific detail. The human had unique, fuzzy coverings unlike anything imaginable.
SOCKS! Soft and supple, they offered comfort and warmth. The best part of all, there were two! Obie lived in a society that was so advanced that things like comfort were sometimes forgotten. He decided that he needed some of those warm fuzzy foot warmers for himself, and so began the voyage of the alien space cadet.

Adfunture is a well known company that has produced some really cool vinyl in the past several years. They have done it agin with The Yoka Bear. This vinyl was limited to only 100 pieces and the proceeds went towards helping out the earthquake victims/citizens of China. The black & white paint scheme is Panda like and quite stark. The bear itself stands appr. 12 inches tall and has articulation at the arms and legs whicj allows you to pose him in a variety of ways. Check him out.
Adfunture also made a Yoka Bear in the colors of Jamaica, celebrating not only the Olympics but Ussain Bolt, the fastest man on earth! Very cool color scheme.
Adfunture also made a limited number of 3 inch bears to go along with thier big brother. These were randomly packed for a very short time with orders of the Jamaican bear.

Now I have something just wicked cool to show you from Japan! Coming from Insticnt Toys this is one of the most imaginative vinyls I have seen in a while. Don't get me wrong. a lot of what I bring to the shack is way cool. This is just a step in another direction. Looking like he is having a meltdown is Inc Black Eyes Designed by Hiroto Ohkubo of Japan, this bear stands 8 1/2 talland comes with a set of foot prints to make him look llike he is leaving a trail behind him! Limited to only 100 pieces it is SOLD OUT in Japan. You can however still get one through Tokyocube.com which is where I got mine! Thier customer service was outstanding and shipping was ultra fast from Japan. Check this guy out.
Dolly is next up from Wheaty Wheat Studios. This is a cool statement on our pharmaceutical habits hmmmm? Taking on a life of it's own. This vinyl came in several colors and is available from Sideshowcollectibles.com

First up is Carrot Shake Jake by Gary Ham of Superham Designs. CSJ is the first vinyl by Gary and I thinnk he is very cool. Jake stands about 4 inches talland comes with a spare pair of ears to allow you to give him any different looks. Check him out.

Next up is a unique vinyl from a company called the Galaxybunch.com. It's called The Ultimate Alpha and upon first blush might look a bit like a QEee. However upon closer inspection you see it has some cool articulation on the arms which allows for some cool posing. This is the D.I.Y. version. Hre he is.
I'm uncertain of where or how much this vinyl is but I will find out and let you know!
Next up is Seymor the Illuminative Edition sheep by Crazy Label. This is freaking plain flat out cool. Youcan plug him into your computer through a USB cable and he lights up a nifty radioactive green. Take it from me the light is a soothing shade and makes for a great night light (as my son is using Seymor for just that. Take a look.

Next up is Jamungo's newest chaarcter, Crappy Cat. Standing 9 inches tall, Crappy Cat comes with his own can of beer and a 6 pack ring. What more does a cat need? He comes in 2 colorways, with the Grey being the rarer of the two.
I wanted to give you something to see what scale was like so Homer volunteered! That probably wasn't the best idea but they seem to be having a good time.
