Toy2r & Mega Box Crossover Feat. MCA of Evil Design

Attention all you Qee fanatics! If you missed out on the Toy2r & Mega Box Crossover event that was held on Sunday, 31st of August 2008 at the Mega Box shopping mall in Kowloon Bay (Hong Kong), you may put your mind at ease. We at Toy2R are proud of our fellow supporters and will keep you in the know at all times, no matter where you are. This spectacular event was an occasion to remember as Toy2r and Mega Box celebrated the launch of MegaBox’s very own 3.5 inch ‘Mega Boxee’ Baby Qee and a 1.5 inch ‘Mega Boxee Zipper Pull’ Qee.

Being the first of its kind in designer/art toy history, the event took off with a special guest appearance from Boston’s very own; MCA of Evil Design (www.evildesign.com) and one of Ms. Hong Kong’s top 5 finalists Ms. Suki Tsui. Both helped in the unveiling of the 3.5 inch ‘Mega Boxee’ Baby Qee, 1.5 inch ‘Mega Boxee Zipper Pull’ Qee and a 60 inch MCA Ape ‘Red Bear’ Qee that left crowds aww struck and that isn’t even the half of it.

.
MCA later went on to present Suki with a set of gifts where he would then teach the beautiful Ms. Hong Kong finalist how to D.I.Y (Do It Yourself) her very own ‘Angel Boxee’ Qee through a stenciling technique commonly popular amongst street artists’. He would then go on to encourage children in a little competition to promote art/creativity and its major influence on the designer toy industry.
After the show, all press and guests were escorted outside the Toy2r Mega Store located on the 2nd floor of the Mega Box shopping mall to catch a glimpse of the latest work/designs of both Toy2r & Evil Design. Founder & President to Toy2r Raymond Choy and special guest MCA gave an autograph signing for all the Qee fans and Evil Ape troopers that attended the show. Truly something special as fans got the opportunity to get up close and personal with such iconic/inspirational leaders in the designer/art world.
.
All in all, the event was a smashing success! We at Toy2r would like to thank all
