Cyclotron
Check one more off of the Super Powers checklist! I'm a huge super Powers fanatic, so I'm always happy to see another one redone in this collection. Unlike his predecessor, superman's creation features a two-part removable faceplate and chest plate. Cyclotron includes a Super Powers stand.

Donna Troy
Wonder Girl features one of the last new standard bucks, the female teen body sculpt. Personally, I'd love to see a variant star costume. Donna includes the head and lower torso of Trigon.

Blue Devil
Just another example of Mattel & the Four Horsemen taking a lesser known character and knocking it out of the park with superb execution. Blue Devil features an all new torso sculpt and includes the Upper torso and cape of Trigon.

Superboy
Finally we can complete our "Reign of the Supermen set"! Superboy appears to use the torso and parts from Sinestro, but with lots of all new pieces. His glasses are separate, but not removable. Superboy includes the left arm of Trigon.

Cheetah
Wonder Woman foe Cheetah comes in two versions, original & modern. The final version of the modern Cheetah has undergone a considerable makeover since we first saw images of her (see pic #3). She now wears a halter top and pants. I have seen her wear this outfit in the comics, so it is accurate, even if I kinda miss the "naked" version. Both versions of Cheetah include the right leg of Trigon.

Blue Beetle (modern)
The new Blue Beetle is 100% an all-new sculpt. He also happens to be a peek at the future of the line. Blue Beetle here is now THE most articulated figure in the line, and will remind more than a few collectors of the ghosts of Marvel Legends. Beetle includes the double wrist articulation seen on Green Arrow, and also sports double elbows and double knees!!! Information leaked out of Toy Fair that this is the new standard, and that we should start to see this articulation integrated in to the line as time goes on. I have also been told by Mattel that final samples will also feature a removable wing pack, which is also translucent. Blue Beetle includes the left leg of Trigon.

Negative Man
Yayy! Another member of the Doom Patrol! Like Blue Devil, he is executed really well, and has a great classic look to him. There's a nice subtle paint wash to his bandages that really brings out the detail nicely. His variant, with his unwrapped face exposed, is really special. It's tough to photograph, so I'll do my best to describe: His face is a dark, smoky translucent plastic, with a painted, sculpted human skull imbedded inside. A Very cool effect! Both versions include the right arm and staff of Trigon.

Trigon (Collect-N-Connect)
The otherworldly demon Trigon makes his first toy appearance ever! Trigon appears to be made of mostly new parts and some tooling from Atom Smasher. Because of this, they appear to stand about the same height. His cape, which must be plugged on his back, is a new approach for the line. It's a soft-goods cloak, lined with internal wiring to allow it to be posed and positioned.

Thanks for stopping by! I want to extend a very special thanks to Mattel and Toy Guru, for proving these samples for review and allowing me to show them to you today! Lots more coming, so stay tuned!!!
